a heritage reborn by alsisar hotels
Spread across 40 acres, Abheygarh is a fortified palace carved in the spirit of early 1900s Indo-European architecture. Hand-carved pillars, marble colonnades, arches, chhatris, and jharokhas come together in perfect symmetry, echoing the lineage of Swinton Jacob while retaining a cinematic calm. Built from Jaisalmer limestone, the palace feels timeless yet alive, rooted in Khetri’s past, designed for today.
Surrounded by forest on three sides and set against the Aravalli ridgeline, Abheygarh offers privacy and dramatic vistas; an immersive base to explore Khetri, Jhunjhunu and the Bansiyal Khetri Leopard Conservation Reserve.

LEGACY
THE ALSISAR
Alsisar Hotels traces its lineage to the custodians of heritage in Rajasthan’s Shekhawati region, where noble residences have long stood as repositories of architecture and tradition. At the heart of this legacy is Alsisar Mahal, a battle-hardened 17th-century palace that endured historic conflict and was lovingly restored in the early 2000s to preserve its original grandeur and intricate frescoes. In Jaipur stands Alsisar Haveli, originally a grand townhouse of the Shekhawat Rajput family, reimagined in 1994 as an oasis of gracious hospitality set amidst serene courtyards and period detail. Near the famed forests of Ranthambhore, Nahargarh embraces its origins as a regal hunting lodge, now offering a retreat where stately architecture meets verdant surroundings. With Abheygarh in Khetri, we extend this lineage into a new chapter, honouring the past while welcoming the present. For us, every palace is not an acquisition, but a responsibility. One that is upheld through warmth, stewardship, and a deep respect for heritage.
